Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join a development team working in a SAFe environment within the financial sector. The role involves supporting one or two agile teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring adherence to agile principles and SAFe practices. The position requires close cooperation with globally distributed teams and stakeholders, combining strong communication, facilitation, and technical understanding to drive team effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Over 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, fluency in spoken and written English language
• Excellent understanding of SAFe and the Agile mind experience set and values
• Experience in IT, preferably within the banking or financial sector (banking experience is an advantage, not a requirement)
• Experience with distributed global teams
• Driven, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work
• Good understanding of iterative and incremental development methods
• Solid knowledge of software development processes and procedures
• Technical background (e.g. developer, tester, IT analyst, or similar role)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex and challenging issues
• Excellent dependency management and coordination skills

Responsibilities you'll have

• Act as Scrum Master for one or two development teams, guiding them in applying Agile and SAFe principles
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective communication and collaboration across the teams
• Support teams in identifying and removing impediments to maintain a steady delivery flow
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability
• Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and align on goals
• Contribute to process improvements and promote best practices in iterative and incremental development
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution
