This job is all about:
Lead a Product Design sub-team: Support your team's growth, set clear directions, and foster an environment where designers can truly excel.,
Mentor designers: Guide less experienced team members, helping them develop their skills, take ownership, and advance their careers.
Lead end-to-end product design projects: Drive projects from initial problem definition to final solution delivery, while also teaching others how to master this process.
Ensure design excellence: Guarantee our designs are intuitive, high-quality, and consistent across our products, primarily mobile applications.
Foster strong collaboration: Build seamless workflows between Product Designers, UX Researchers, Developers, and Product Managers, enhancing team synergy.
Bridge design and business: Make informed decisions that effectively balance user needs with product and company objectives.
Shape our design practices: Continuously improve our design team's processes, tools, and rituals.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience leading designers: You have a track record of mentoring, providing effective feedback, and supporting individual growth.
Expertise in leading product design projects: Especially within the mobile space.
Solid understanding of iOS/Android design standards: You know good practices and benchmarks inside out.
Fluency in Figma: You're proficient in using it for both design and team collaboration.
Experience in building and scaling design systems.
Excellent communication skills: Both in English and Polish, with a knack for aligning people, business, and technology.
A blend of systematic thinking and attention to detail, combined with a strong team-first mindset.
