💡 About the project

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a major German IT organization delivering software solutions to the healthcare sector.The project focuses on modernizing the software delivery process and developing microservice-based architecture. You’ll coordinate development and implementation activities around automation, DevOps, and workflow optimization within a cross-functional technical environment.

🚀 About the role

You’ll act as the main coordination point between architecture, development, and management teams. The role combines strategic planning, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication, ensuring that complex IT initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and according to technical and organizational standards.

🧠 Your responsibilities

• Plan and manage IT projects within the microservices and DevOps domain

• Define milestones, allocate resources, and monitor project progress

• Oversee quality, risk, and change management throughout project phases

• Prepare steering committee materials and decision-making documentation

• Coordinate teams and support Solution Architects in project execution

• Facilitate meetings, create reports, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders

• Support the implementation of process improvements within the software delivery chain

🧩 Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager (preferably in large-scale software projects)

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, software delivery pipelines, and DevOps environments

• Practical experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Project

• Knowledge of standards and frameworks: ITIL, CMMI, Agile/Scrum

• Excellent communication and coordination skills in international teams

• Fluent German (min. B2)

• University degree in IT or related field

• Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA, or similar)
