Salary: 1000 - 1200 PLN/MD on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa  (at least 3 days per week from the office)

Project

Large-scale Data Centre migration programme focused on migrating multiple applications from a legacy data centre environment to target hosting platforms. The Transition Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving complex transition and cutover activities across several parallel application migrations. The role supports day-to-day transition management, operational readiness, and cross-stakeholder coordination, with domain support provided by the Programme Manager.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Plan and drive end-to-end transition and cutover activities for multiple application migrations
• Coordinate stakeholders across internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring alignment between governance and delivery
• Ensure readiness for production cutovers, including dependencies, risks, mitigations, and rollback planning
• Manage transition plans, cutover schedules, and execution runbooks at application level
• Track and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies related to migration execution
• Ensure transitions are executed in line with compliance, control, and operational stability requirements, and provide clear status reporting

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Transition Manager in complex IT transition or migration programmes within regulated environments (financial services preferred)
• Experience in planning and executing data centre migrations, platform transitions, or large-scale infrastructure changes, including hands-on cutover planning and production readiness
• Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams in complex, multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment
• Structured approach to risk, dependency, and issue management with the ability to work independently under pressure
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Experience in Nordic or large European banking environments, cloud or modernized hosting migrations, and understanding of IT governance, compliance, and control requirements
