About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner to join our Direct & Online Sales colleagues. In this role, you will work within a frontend team, owning the backlog and roadmap to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery. You will collaborate closely with a Business Product Owner, translating product vision into actionable solutions and driving execution.

How you will get the job done

• owning and managing the frontend backlog and roadmap, aligning with business priorities and timelines

• translating requirements into clear, implementable user stories with acceptance criteria

• collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and QA, ensuring shared understanding and feasibility

• participating in sprint ceremonies, planning, and monitoring delivery progress

• managing dependencies, risks, and ensuring smooth, high-quality releases

• ensuring alignment with architecture, standards, and continuous improvement

• maintaining documentation and reporting progress

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent English (spoken and written)

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role

• solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SDLC

• experience working with dev teams (frontend preferred), QA, architects, and DevOps

• ability to translate business needs into clear requirements

• strong prioritization and decision-making skills

• hands-on experience with backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• strong stakeholder communication skills

• ability to work in complex, cross-team environments

• understanding of digital products and customer-facing applications

Nice to have

• fluent German

• experience in regulated industries (e.g. insurance, finance)

• familiarity with API-based architectures and backend dependencies

• familiarity with Figma
