Job description

Programme Consultant


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the right hand of the Programme Manager within the PMO structure

  • Manage programme-wide schedules and tasks using MS Project and MS Planner

  • Prepare status updates, progress reports, and KPI dashboards

  • Identify the critical path, manage interdependencies across projects

  • Maintain and track risk, issue, and decision logs

  • Prepare documentation and presentations for Steering Committee meetings

  • Ensure consistency and adherence to programme governance and standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business, construction, vendors) in an international environment

 

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in roles such as PMO, Project Coordinator, Programme Support Officer, or Senior PMO Analyst

  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Planner, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools is a plus

  • Practical knowledge of project/programme management frameworks such as PMI, PRINCE2, or MSP (certifications are a plus, but not required)

  • Strong skills in reporting, dashboard creation, and preparing management-level materials

  • Ability to identify critical paths, manage dependencies, and maintain structured documentation

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) – this is the main working language

  • Excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and ability to work in a multicultural team

  • Proactive, well-organized, and comfortable working under time pressure 

  • Please note that this role involves a fixed rotation of 2 weeks on-site in Riyadh and 1 week remote (Ability to travel accordingly is required)
