About the Role
As a Project Manager at cerebre, you will play a key role in leading software project execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will be critical in bridging technical teams and business stakeholders, including clients, facilitating seamless execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will coordinate distributed development teams across multiple time zones, manage risks, optimize workflows, and drive key initiatives from planning through release. Your ability to implement structure without adding unnecessary bureaucracy will directly support our mission to build better, faster, and smarter.

Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional development teams through sprint planning, daily standups, and release cycles.
Own end-to-end release management including QA checkpoints, release criteria, and standardized documentation processes.
Manage Jira administration, optimize workflows, and implement automation to improve ticket quality and team velocity.
Track progress against product goals with weekly reporting on risks, key decisions, and estimated time to completion (ETCs).
Facilitate technical interviews, onboarding for new developers, and implement knowledge-sharing practices to reduce team dependencies.
Collaborate with Product Management to align engineering capacity with roadmap priorities and support quarterly planning efforts.
Conduct process assessments and implement estimation methodologies to improve development predictability and team performance.
Serve as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, managing customer support escalations and synthesizing user pain points.
Establish quality metrics, tracking mechanisms, and deliver regular project health reports to engineering and company leadership.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience in project management within IT, engineering, or consulting environments.
Proven experience leading agile software development teams through full project lifecycles.
Hands-on experience managing and configuring Jira (or similar tools) including workflows, custom fields, automations, and reporting.
Strong understanding of release management, QA processes, and documentation standards in a technical environment.
Ability to track and report on product goals, ETCs, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills—especially across time zones, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience conducting interviews and onboarding processes for technical team members.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on driving execution and continuous improvement.
Fluent English (written and verbal).
Preferred Skills
Certified or deeply familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches).
Background in software development, engineering, or process optimization.
Familiarity with broader project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Notion.
Experience managing customer or user feedback loops in a product development setting.
Ability to create lightweight documentation to support alignment, knowledge transfer, and team clarity.
Strong leadership skills and a proactive, self-starting mindset.
