Jira Integration Specialist

About Project

We are looking for an experienced Jira Migration / Integration Engineer. This role focuses on a full migration from Jira Server to Jira Cloud and ongoing supervision of the integration between Jira Cloud and HaloPSA. Additionally, the project is establishing a new subsidiary that will require a separate Jira Cloud instance and corresponding migration.

Role Overview

We are seeking a consultant with hands-on experience in designing, managing, and executing complex Jira on-prem environments and successful cloud migrations.

Start date: immediate

Responsibilities:

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with the outgoing Jira specialists

• Lead and execute the complete migration process.

• Perform verification, testing, and validation of the migrated environment.

• Oversee and support the integration between Jira Cloud and HaloPSA.

• Carry out pre-go-live testing for HaloPSA and Jira Cloud integrations

• Support the migration of an additional newly created subsidiary into a separate Jira Cloud instance.

Requirements:

• Experience with complex Jira Server (on-prem) setups and end-to-end migrations to Jira Cloud.

• Strong understanding of Atlassian ecosystems, marketplace apps, and configuration management.

• Prior work with system integrations, ideally with HaloPSA (or similar PSA / ITSM platforms).

• Ability to create structured migration plans and execute them independently.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong troubleshooting, validation, and testing capabilities
