The primary responsibility of the Application Test Engineer is to update and execute manual and automated testing efforts for assigned projects to ensure projects meet the quality standards set by product owners. The Application Test Engineer will focus on analyzing requirements, developing and maintaining manual and automated test cases.
YOU ARE
YOU ARE
- Demonstrating 5+ year proficient experience working on software products/mobile applications in QA
- Showing at least 3-year experience using Linux
- Holding a thorough understanding of all test fundamentals, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), test management tools, and defect tracking tools
- Proficient with analyzing requirements, test planning/execution, automated testing, and reporting
- Experienced in testing core applications such as browser compatibility, multimedia, and file management
- Confident with testing initial setup workflow, tutorials, application settings within an embedded system for enterprise or consumer environments
- Capable of analyzing and testing customer workflows and UX specifications
- Skilled in Python/C/C#/C++ in a production environment is a plus point
- Experienced with testing 3D computer graphics/AR/VR is a benefit
- A holder of deep communication, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues
- Showing excellent oral and written communication skills including an effective presentation with a dynamic and can do attitude
- Demonstrating Upper-Intermediate English level (both spoken and written)

- Ensuring projects meet the quality standards set by product owners
- Product teams, key stakeholders, and Developers hand-in-hand
- Supporting overall engineering and architecture effort of the software group from a quality perspective
- Developing manual and automated tests/scripts on daily basis ensuring complete test coverage of requirements
- Identifying test cases for automation to automate test cases together with the team
- Investigating software defects and other technical issues
- Analyzing and reporting on test progress, status, and performance metrics
- Effective usage of the feedback from business users to keep the team connected to any issues before they become bigger problems. Feeding and translating the feedback into testing tasks to improve the quality of the deliverables
- Ensuring that security and risk management are the fundamental foundations for design, decision, and delivery
- Contribution to the continuous process improvement and loyalty to the team whilst maintaining a high-performance level
