Global Test Automation Leader (SAP)

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-focused Automation Test Lead to oversee the creation, execution, and continuous improvement of automated testing frameworks across our enterprise landscape. This role is dedicated to ensuring the reliability and quality of applications such as SAP S/4HANA, web platforms, mobile solutions, and APIs (e.g., MuleSoft). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, solid technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering top-quality software at scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning, design, and rollout of automated testing frameworks and test strategies for SAP S/4HANA, web, mobile, and API solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to define automation requirements and align them with business objectives.

• Build and maintain automated test scripts using widely adopted tools and frameworks.

• Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support agile delivery cycles.

• Ensure comprehensive coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.

• Track test execution, analyze results, and report on key quality indicators; drive the resolution of identified defects.

• Provide guidance to development teams and advocate for best practices in automation and quality assurance.

• Continuously assess new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.

  
  

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance, including around 3+ years in a senior or lead automation role.

• Proven background in automated testing for SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori applications and integrations.

• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, UFT, Tosca).

• Experience testing web and mobile applications across diverse platforms (iOS, Android, major browsers).

• Solid knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured) and familiarity with API testing and monitoring (e.g., MuleSoft).

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with test management solutions (e.g., Zephyr, qTest, ALM) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

• Understanding of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of the Mendix low-code platform is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong drive for quality and continuous improvement.
