OPS Engineer Cloud Applications

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud-based applications on Azure, including containerized deployments.
• Implement and configure monitoring solutions (e.g., LogAnalytics, Application Insights) for optimal performance and availability.
• Collaborate with third-party monitoring services to establish alerting systems and incident response plans.
• Optimize web applications and participate in infrastructure design and updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and availability.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards for cloud applications.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements in cloud application architecture and processes.

Qualifications

• You have a university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or similar
• Proven experience managing cloud applications on Azure
• Expertise in monitoring tools like LogAnalytics and Application Insights
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, German language nice to have
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter
