Scrum Master

You will work closely with the Product Owner to assist with backlog refinement  and prioritization, ensuring that the team has a clear understanding of the product vision and goals. Your guidance will help the team adhere to the Scrum Framework and Agile principles, including practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Pair Programming, and Mob Programming. Additionally, you will coach team members as needed to help them grow and perform at their best.

Tracking and reporting on the team’s progress and performance will be a key part of your role, using metrics such as burn-down charts, cumulative flow diagrams, and team health checks. You will communicate these insights to management, stakeholders, and the Product Owner, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Your role will also involve fostering open communication and collaboration among team members, facilitating conflict resolution, and building a positive, self-organizing team environment. You will promote continuous improvement by reflecting on processes and outcomes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing action items.

• Coaching and Mentoring: Experience in coaching and mentoring team members and stakeholders in Scrum, Agile, and XP practices and principles.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and remove impediments that may impact team progress.
• Organizational and Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Understanding of Software Development: A good understanding of the software development lifecycle, processes, and technologies, even if not hands-on.
• Agile Scaling Experience: Knowledge and experience with scaling Agile practices, including Scrum of Scrums (SoS) or other frameworks like LeSS, Scrum@Scale, or SAFe.
