Application Support Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an independent Engineer to manage and troubleshoot business applications across Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes environments. You will collaborate with developers and security teams to ensure system stability while supporting CI/CD processes and monitoring performance.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications on IIS, Apache Tomcat, and Kubernetes.
Manage application updates using CI/CD tools (GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Nexus).
Monitor infrastructure and databases using Zabbix/Grafana, including alert configuration.
Handle the full SSL certificate lifecycle and remediate system vulnerabilities.
Provide 1st/2nd line support and maintain technical documentation and MS SQL/DB2 databases.
Key Requirements
Experience: Several years as a self-reliant administrator of business applications (Windows, Linux, Containers).
OS & Web Servers: Proficiency in Linux RHEL (Java/Tomcat) and Windows Server (IIS).
Databases: Hands-on MS SQL troubleshooting, log analysis, and application-to-DB correlation.
Modern Infrastructure: Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Octopus, Nexus).
Security & IAM: Knowledge of SSL lifecycle management, Keycloak (IAM), and Active Directory/GPO.
Integrations: Understanding of API communication, encryption, and messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
Languages: English at a B2 level for daily international collaboration.
