Technical Project Manager

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

Tricity office consolidation involving closure of one office building in Gdynia and relocation to 3 new office floors in Gdansk

Location: The person should be prepared to work onsite in the Gdynia and Gdansk offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan deinstallation of network devices from closing offices while ensuring business continuity for specific remaining teams
Support design of network infrastructure for 3 new floors in Gdansk
Determine number and capacity of technical rooms required for new floors
Coordinate with Network specialists on infrastructure build planning and execution
Oversee network infrastructure build and security infrastructure execution
Conduct site inspections and technical assessments of new locations
Manage network equipment relocation, server room setup, and coordination with Cyber Security teams and other stakeholders
Oversee operational readiness including CMDB updates, service catalog updates, and decommissioning of old equipment

Coordination of meeting room equipment, workplace technology, and printer fleet migration

Must-have knowledge and experience

Project Management:
• Minimum 5 years of technical project management experience
• Experience managing IT infrastructure migration projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects with tight contractual deadlines

Technical Infrastructure:
• Network infrastructure design and implementation experience
• Data center and server room setup/migration expertise
• Understanding of enterprise network equipment (switches, routers, access points)
• Some experience with technical room capacity planning and requirements
• Some experience with office networks and facilities management

Security & Compliance:
• Some knowledge of physical security systems and infrastructure
• Experience with secure facility migrations and business continuity planning
• Understanding of cyber security requirements for dedicated server rooms

Coordination & Communication:
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams (Network, Data Center, Security)
• Proven ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Operational Knowledge:
• Experience with IT service decommissioning and equipment relocation
• Knowledge of CMDB and service catalog management
• Some Understanding of monitoring systems and infrastructure dependencies

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

Industry & Regional:

Previous experience with Nordic banking institutions
Knowledge of Polish/European data protection and security regulations
Experience working in financial services environment
Specialized Technical:

Cisco networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP)
VMware or other virtualization platform experience
Experience with enterprise telephony and collaboration systems migration
Knowledge of building management systems and facilities integration
Project Methodology:

PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
Agile/Scrum methodology experience
Experience with large-scale office consolidation projects
Tools & Platforms:

Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (SIEM, network monitoring)
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams/collaboration platform deployments
Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes
Experience with asset management and inventory systems

Soft Skills:
Experience managing stakeholder expectations during business-critical migrations
Proven ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Weekend and after-hours availability for critical migration activities
