SAP Integration / Middleware Developer (BTP)
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration / Middleware Developer (BTP) to join a large-scale transformation program within the transportation sector. The person in this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between SAP systems and external platforms, utilizing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and middleware technologies. This position requires collaboration across multiple parallel workstreams and a focus on supporting ongoing integration and transformation activities.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integration solutions between SAP systems and external platforms using SAP BTP Integration Suite and middleware technologies.
Support and resolve integration-related issues reported by multiple testing teams across various project streams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and transformation during the S/4HANA migration and related application landscape changes.
Contribute to the design and implementation of complex, end-to-end SAP project deliveries, particularly focusing on FI and CO modules and their integrations.
Utilize Java and other middleware technologies to build scalable and maintainable integration components.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize integration processes and tools.
Qualifications
Proven experience in SAP integration development with a strong focus on SAP BTP Integration Suite and middleware technologies.
Solid programming skills in Java and a foundational understanding of ABAP Object-Oriented programming.
Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation programs, especially involving S/4HANA implementations.
Familiarity with multiple SAP modules, with a focus on Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Nice to have: knowledge of additional tools and technologies such as HANA Calculation Views, Embedded Analytics, SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Jira, and SAP Solution Manager Focused Build is advantageous.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is considered a strong asset.
