AI Engineer with SAP

In this role, you will focus on architecting enterprise-grade AI agents that integrate with SAP to automate diagnostics, optimize service delivery, and boost operational efficiency. The successful candidate will bring a unique blend of AI engineering prowess and deep SAP technical knowledge.

The Impact You Will Make

• System Integration: Design and execute SAP integrations utilizing CDS views, Function Modules, and OData services.

• AI Agent Development: Use modern frameworks like Model Context Protocol and LangGraph to build intelligent agents tailored for SAP environments.

• Cloud Operations: Enable and manage AI workloads on Azure or AWS, ensuring scalability and secure deployment.

• Front-End Experience: Craft the AI agent interaction layer using Vercel AI SDK, CopilotKit, or similar tools.

• Process Automation: Connect AI solutions with incident management workflows (e.g., ServiceNow) to streamline triage and resolution.

• Collaborative Engineering: Partner with SAP Basis teams on performance and access management, and work alongside Technical Product Managers to ship production-ready tools.

• Data & Tooling: Develop MCP-based integrations and AI coding assets to support the AI SDLC for SAP while working directly with SAP data structures for precise context retrieval.

What We Are Looking For

• SAP Technical Mastery: Proven experience with Eclipse ABAP Development Tools, the RAP model, and publishing OData V4 APIs.

• AI & LLM Expertise: Strong background in building agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and utilizing MCP-based architectures.

• Technical Core: Proficiency in SAP data models, OData services, and Function Modules.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience operating AI workloads within AWS or Azure environments.

• Experience Layers: Practical experience building AI agent interfaces via Vercel AI SDK or CopilotKit.

• Service Knowledge: Understanding of SAP Basis concepts and incident management processes (including ServiceNow integration).

• Mindset: A strong problem-solver capable of navigating the intersection of cloud, AI, and SAP domains.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Agile or DevOps environments.

• Familiarity with secure AI deployment and enterprise governance.

• History of building AI solutions specifically for SAP Managed Services or forensic/diagnostic use cases.
