Statistical / R Developer

Algomine, part of the Transition Technologies PSC Capital Group, is looking for a Statistical / R Developer.

We are looking for an experienced Statistical/R Developer for an international project for the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry.

Responsibilities

• Migrating statistical procedures from SAS 4GL to R and Python.

• Analyzing, understanding, and translating existing SAS code.

• Creating internal libraries and production components in R/Python.

• Collaborating with statisticians and research teams working on clinical and pharmaceutical data analysis.

• Participating in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions.

• Preparing technical documentation.

• Daily communication with the international team in English.

Requirements

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, quantitative methods, computer science, or a related field.

• Commercial experience in implementing production solutions.

• Excellent knowledge of R.

• Good knowledge of SAS, enabling analysis and understanding of existing code.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Good understanding of statistical methods and mathematical models.

• Experience in a research or academic environment.

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical, or life science projects.

• Experience in statistical programming.

• Knowledge of validation processes and documentation in regulated environments.
