SAP HCM Product Owner (m/k) 🤖
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner for HCM Core Solutions who will guide a high-performing HR IT team and take ownership of the development and delivery of HCM Core platforms particularly SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM. This role plays a key part in shaping the company’s digital HR ecosystem, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless system operations in an international environment.
Your role
Team Leadership & Development
Provide functional leadership and mentoring to the HCM Core Solutions team, promoting collaboration and high performance.
Support team members’ professional growth through coaching and ongoing development.
Work closely with the leadership team, including the People & Competence Manager (PCM), Scrum Master (SCM), and Product Group Owner for HR IT Solutions.
Product Ownership & Roadmap Strategy
Define, manage, and execute the product roadmap for HCM Core Solutions in alignment with organizational and HR strategic goals.
Prioritize and balance the product backlog, ensuring effective allocation between projects, operations, and team capacity.
Engage with stakeholders to clarify product vision, features, priorities, expectations, and timelines.
Project Delivery & System Implementation
Oversee international IT projects related to HCM Core Solutions, ensuring successful delivery and continuous system enhancement.
Manage end-to-end project execution—on schedule, within scope, and within budget—while maintaining stable system operations.
Drive the adoption and rollout of new HCM Core features across the organization.
Integration & Cross-functional Collaboration
Support technical integration activities related to ongoing company transformations and system harmonization.
Collaborate closely with other HR IT teams to ensure cohesive, integrated solutions across the HR systems landscape.
Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across departments.

Requirements
Education & Experience
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar field.
Several years of proven experience in team leadership, including coaching, motivation, and managing complex organizational scenarios.
Strong background as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within HR IT.
Technical Expertise
Several years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM (PA/OM) and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Demonstrated track record in delivering digitalization and transformation projects.
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA.
Good understanding of enterprise integrations and the challenges of complex ERP environments.
Language Skills
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of German is an advantage.
