Technical Architect

We are looking for Technical Architect to join Sopra Steria Polska a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Po-land, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in plan-ning the flights or various airport operations.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice or Gdańsk, Poland. 

Responsibilities:

• Ability to integrate the solution into client eco-system, knowledge of process, API manage-ment, multiple networks, LAN/WAN interface.

• Providing and advising on scalable architecture, quality code and performance assurance.

• Cooperation with multiple/cross functional teams and Tech Leads/Architects.

• Ensures the relevance and quality of solutions, validating all deliverables within scope.

• Manages customer communication.

• Identifies and controls risks.

• Proactive with compelling propositions for continuous improvement..

• Designs architectures and oversees their implementation, ensuring the viability, operability, scalability, economic feasibility and matching of solutions with needs.

• Draws on their expertise (software, infrastructure, networks, security) to guarantee the success of pro-jects for customers.

Tech Stack on the project:

• React

• Node.js

• AWS

• Postgres

• Scrum/SAFE

Must have requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience with AWS infrastructure.

• Experience in cooperating with clients Fluent English B2/C1 

• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice or Gdańsk.

Nice have requirements:

• Knowledge of/ interest in aeronautical sector.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

The recruitment process in our company consist of 2 stages:

• a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)

• one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
