We operate in nearly 30 countries in the world, hiring around 55,000 employees. Polish branch, as the Global Delivery Center, operates in Katowice since 2007 and has been growing ever since. In 2025 we opened our second office in Gdańsk. Currently, our team consists of almost 1,000 specialists who share their expertise working in one of our two departments: Digital Platform Services or Application Services.

Our history - over 18 years in Poland
The beginnings of our company reach to 1968 with creation of Sopra and Steria as two separate companies.
In 2007 we opened our office in Katowice, in 2014 Sopra and Steria merge into the one brand. Since then we have been creating an international environment that enables the exchange of diverse professional experiences, values and cultures. Our philosophy is ‘The world is how we shape it’.
We collaborate with organizations across banking, consulting, fintech, logistics, medical, financial, pharmaceutical, retail, aerospace, and education industries.

Our team consists of almost 1,000 specialists who share their expertise working in one of our two departments: Digital Platform Services or Application Services.
Our Teams
Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who mainly speak French and English, but also Italian and Spanish.
The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
