We are currently looking for a Product Security Architect, willing to join a project for our strategic client – one of the largest manufacturing companies from Sweden, offering IoT solutions and assets management. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the security architecture of our client product. You will leverage your expertise in cybersecurity to design and implement robust security solutions, develop proof of concepts, and drive innovation. 🔷Responsibilities:

• Own the security architecture of the product, ensuring security-by-design across cloud environments, integrations, data flows and system components.

• Define and evolve the end-to-end security architecture for solutions deployed in the cloud (preferably AWS) and across hybrid ecosystems.

• Act as a security and architecture partner for product and engineering teams, translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable solution designs.

• Design secure architectures for systems interacting with: cloud services, external partners and systems, machines, devices and OT/IoT environments

• Define security guardrails, architectural patterns and reference architectures for engineering teams.

• Ensure architecture and implementation support compliance with CRA, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, NIS2, including traceability and audit readiness.

• Perform architectural-level threat modeling for systems, components, integrations and data flows.

• Provide technical leadership in security topics, influencing engineering culture and raising security maturity across teams.

• Review solution designs, technical concepts and implementation plans to ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to ensure security is embedded into cloud foundations, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).

• Coordinate and interpret results of security assessments and penetration tests, translating findings into architectural improvements.

• Continuously assess architectural risks and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

🎯Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in security architecture, solution architecture, cloud architecture or senior security engineering with strong architectural ownership.

• Experience designing secure architectures for products and platforms deployed in the cloud (preferably AWS, but other public cloud environments are also acceptable).

• Understanding of how communication and integrations work at system and architectural level, including interactions between cloud services, external systems, and devices (including OT/IoT environments).

• Ability to design security controls across complex, distributed systems and define appropriate trust boundaries between components.

• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) and understanding how architectural decisions translate into infrastructure design.

• Strong understanding of security principles such as identity and access management, encryption, key management, least privilege, secure boundaries and defense in depth.

• Experience applying security frameworks and regulations in practice, especially CRA, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, NIS2.

• Ability to perform architectural threat modeling and risk analysis for systems, integrations and data flows.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as a trusted technical partner for engineering, product and platform teams.

• Ability to influence technical decisions and act as a security authority across multiple teams

  
  

Nice to have: 

• Experience with architectures involving OT / IoT environments, industrial systems or machine-to-cloud connectivity.

• Experience with containerized and serverless workloads.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Security, CISSP, CISM or similar).

• Ability to build small proof-of-concepts (e.g. in Python or TypeScript) to validate architectural concepts
