Job Overview We are seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to join our Observability team. In this role, you will help design, build, and evolve our observability platform that supports critical, large-scale systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and leaders to shape the technical direction, drive automation, and strengthen our monitoring, logging, and telemetry capabilities. You will play a key role in advancing our platform’s reliability and scalability, contribute to system architecture, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure availability of critical services.

Key responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and implementation of the observability platform.
Be part of a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Utilize expertise in technologies such as Open Telemetry, Fluent Bit, LGTM, PowerShell, Snowflake, C#/Python/Golang, GitHub Actions (preffered), or similar tools to enhance our automation capabilities.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the big data systems observability.
Bring Azure experience to the table, contributing to the enhancement of our capabilities.
After gathering relevant experience, you will participate in regular on-call shifts
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems.
Exemplify Core Values and be a role model - Motivate the team through changes and failures.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Solid software development experience (3+ years).
Hands-on experience in Observability enablement.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as C#/Python or Golang, PowerShell, GitHub Actions (preferred), or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of SDLC and best practices.
Experience with commercial cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP) and large cloud-native systems.
Experience in Open Telemetry or other observability frameworks is highly desirable.
Proactive problem solver with a hands-on attitude towards debugging solutions.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with Agile development methodology.
Fluency in English.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
146,000 and 218,000PLN
The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
