Backend Software Engineer

Help us build the next generation of fintech for the gig economy. We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to design and scale systems that power modern web and mobile experiences.

What you’ll work on:

• Apply engineering skills to real-world challenges in backend systems.

• Design and build distributed, event-driven architectures.

• Integrating with Azure services and 3rd-party APIs.

• Enhance system observability through monitoring, logging, and analytics.

• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across our systems.

  
  

Must-have skills

• Strong C#/.NET Core skills.

• Hands-on Azure cloud ecosystem.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Postgre, Azure SQL etc.).

• Understanding of distributed systems and event sourcing.

  
  

Good to have

• Knowledge of Node.js.

• Azure Function experience. 

• Exposure to microservices and messaging systems.

• Familiarity with performance profiling and monitoring tools.

• Infrastructure as a code.

• Experience with DevOps workflows (GitHub Actions, CI/CD).

• Familiar with authentication and security best practices.

• 3–6+ years of professional backend development experience.

• Comfortable owning backend for multiple apps and clients.

• Proactive, curious, and collaborative.
