Job description

Role Overview

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be the Level 3 escalation point for Salesforce support and play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing the Salesforce platform. You will ensure data integrity, manage user access and permissions, monitor platform health, and support business processes across Sales and related teams.

Scope of responsibilitilities


1. Data Administration

•Manage record transfers (Opportunities, Accounts) during sales role changes, onboarding, and offboarding.

•Provide support for business process errors and user troubleshooting.

•Execute controlled mass data changes using Dataloader, with a strong understanding of bypasses and data impact.


2. User Administration

•Ensure accurate user creation with appropriate roles and permissions.

•Coordinate with Identity teams during project milestones to align user setup strategies.

•Maintain permission hygiene:

a, Match permissions to user roles.

b. Deactivate terminated users.

c. Audit and clean up Permission Sets, Profiles, and Field-Level Security.

d. Drive new permission requirements through the BUILD process.


3. Platform Administration

•Clean up and optimize Dashboards, Reports, Report Types, List Views, and outdated Flows.

•Manage licenses for tools including Copado, EAC, Salesforce, and Analytics.

•Oversee sandbox hygiene in coordination with Release Managers.

•Administer Agentforce configurations to enhance user experience.

•Secret expiration / update management


4. Platform Monitoring

•Analyze technical logs to identify error trends and proactively create bug tickets.

•Act as the escalation and coordination point during platform incidents.

•Monitor platform metrics:

a, Data consumption

b. Field usage

c. Platform event consumption

d. Technical debt evolution

•Review Salesforce release notes and assess impact of upcoming changes, product retirements, and Media Cloud package updates.


Qualifications:


Mandatory Certification - Salesforce Certified Administrator & Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

•Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a complex enterprise environment.

•Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and permission structures.

•Proficiency with Dataloader and experience in managing mass data operations.

•Familiarity with license and sandbox management.

•Analytical mindset with ability to interpret logs and platform metrics.

•Excellent communication and coordination skills.
