Principal Engineer – Application Integration

We are looking for a Principal Engineer – Application Integration, who will play a key role in delivering installation, configuration and deployment services for a wide range of business applications. In this role, you will act as the technical owner of assigned applications, ensuring their stability, performance and continuous development. The position is based in Poland, with a hybrid work model in the Kraków office.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration, and support of commercial and custom applications.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, databases, networks, and systems.

• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on technology standards and best practices.

• Manage full application lifecycle: installs, upgrades, patches, migrations.

• Maintain and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development.

• Maintain and improve monitoring systems, analyze performance, and plan capacity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar.

• 10+ years of experience administering application environments.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, DBs, networking, and OS layers.

• Experience with WebLogic, IIS, Oracle, and SQL Server.

• Hands‑on experience deploying and maintaining both custom and purchased applications.

• Fluent English.
