Senior ABAP Developer (with RAP)

We are looking for an experienced Senior ABAP Developer to join an international project focused on modern SAP solutions. The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality SAP applications, with a strong focus on modern ABAP standards and REST-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP applications using classical and object-oriented ABAP

• Work with modern ABAP syntax (7.40+) and follow best development practices

• Build and extend solutions using RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)

• Develop and maintain CDS views, OData services, and SAP Fiori applications

• Collaborate on UI solutions using SAP UI5 / Fiori

• Develop and support interfaces and integrations with external systems

• Participate in technical design, code reviews, and system improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development

• Very strong knowledge of classical and object-oriented ABAP

• Hands-on experience with RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)

• Solid understanding of CDS, OData services, SAP Fiori, and UI5

• Experience in interface and integration development, including:

  • ALE, RFC, BAPIs, IDOCs

  • APIs and Web Services

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team

Nice to Have

• Experience with S/4HANA projects

• Familiarity with modern SAP architecture and clean core principles

• Experience working in international environments
