Test Manager

As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the testing strategy for MVB capabilities in 2026 and beyond to validate MVB risk reduction and recovery robustness. You will support the set-up of MVB testing and define a long-term testing plan, ensuring all dependencies for delivery are clearly understood.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive testing strategy for MVB capabilities in 2026 and onwards to validate MVB risk reduction

• Establish detailed testing strategies to ensure robust recovery capabilities and validate MVB plans

• Define dependencies for delivery of testing in 2026

• Support the set-up of MVB testing and define a long-term testing plan

• Design and implement testing strategies for MVB response and recovery (awareness, discrete, integrated and co-ordinated testing)

• Perform risk assessments and develop realistic disaster scenarios

• Refine testing strategies based on feedback and changing circumstances

• Communicate testing strategies to stakeholders, ensure buy‑in and compliance with regulatory requirements

Ideal candidate profile

• Strong experience as a Testing Manager

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

• Deep understanding of the financial services industry, banking products and services and the regulatory environment

• Deep understanding of business continuity and crisis management in the context of cyber resilience, including recovery methods, documentation and technologies

• Experience with technology stacks in large banks and establishing disaster recovery processes across business and technology

• Understanding of risk assessment, mitigation strategies and recovery planning, with a focus on testing

• Experience in developing, implementing and testing business continuity plans (table-top, scenario and technology testing)

• Ability to design, analyse and test disaster scenarios to evaluate recovery plans

• Background in technology infrastructure and systems testing to ensure robustness and recovery capabilities

• Proven track record of managing complex testing projects, including planning, execution and monitoring of recovery tests

• Understanding of banking regulatory requirements and compliance standards to ensure testing strategies meet expectations

• Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teams involved in testing recovery plans

• Experience working with senior stakeholders and regulators (nice to have)
