Test Automation Engineer (C# / .NET 8 & Playwright)

As a Senior/Expert Test Automation Engineer, you will own and scale automated test suites for a C# /.NET 8 solution. You will work on UI automation using Playwright and the Page Object Model, as well as API automation using HttpClient or RestSharp, including JSON validation and schema checks.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain automated test suites in a C# /.NET 8 solution

• Implement UI automation using Playwright and the Page Object Model

• Implement API automation using HttpClient / RestSharp with JSON validation and schema checks

• Design test architecture with reusable helpers, stable selectors and retry/backoff mechanisms to reduce flakiness

• Conduct failure diagnostics and debugging to improve stability and reliability

Ideal candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in test automation on .NET stacks

• Strong C# skills, including modern language features, and experience with .NET 8 test code

• Experience with CI/CD automation (Bitbucket/Bamboo)

• Fluent use of Git, code review practices and maintaining test pipelines

• Experience with test frameworks such as NUnit and relevant test runners

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

• Experience working in agile engineering teams focused on high levels of automation (nice to have)
