Rust Developer (Trading Systems)

Join an international team working on real-time trading systems. The project focuses on building and optimizing low-latency, high-performance systems used in live trading environments. You’ll work closely with engineers, quants, and traders on systems where performance and reliability are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve latency in real-time trading systems

• Integrate low-latency machine learning algorithms in collaboration with quant engineers

• Work on intensive data ingestion processes supporting AI model training

• Design and improve front-end monitoring tools used directly by traders

• Automate end-to-end trading and compliance pipelines

• Collaborate on internal tools and frameworks to improve developer experience

• Continuously develop, deploy, and maintain applications

• Support and extend hardware infrastructure

• Help establish and improve engineering and operational processes

Ideal candidate profile

• Senior-level Software Engineer with 3+ years of commercial experience in Rust

• Strong experience with low-latency, real-time, or distributed systems

• Hands-on knowledge of Rust, or strong background in another low-level language (e.g. Go) with proven interest in Rust

• Comfortable with on-call support and root-cause analysis in production systems

• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn, share knowledge, and mentor others

• Good communication skills in English

nice to have:

• M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• Experience in trading, finance, or performance-critical systems

• Background in hardware-aware or systems-level engineering

Conditions

• Work model: Fully remote

• Start: mid-February

• Project duration: ~6 months

• Rate:  125 -160 PLN/h negotiable (B2B only)
