Project Manager - Delivery Operations (Data & Insights)

We're hiring a (remote) Project Manager - Delivery Operations

Our AI-powered consumer intelligence platform transforms billions of data points (Google searches, social conversations, product reviews, and videos) into strategic insights for global brands such as Coca Cola, Unilever, and Bayer. We deliver in days what traditional research takes months to produce.

The Role

Every month we deliver 200+ dashboards across multiple clients, categories, and countries. This role is the operational owner of that monthly delivery engine.

You will run our monthly delivery cycle end-to-end, ensuring every segment is refreshed, QA’d, and published on time and in full.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role: you build the structure, drive the daily execution, remove blockers, and make sure handoffs happen cleanly across Data Analysts, QA, and Data Engineering.

What you’ll do

1) Cycle setup (before the month starts)

• Build and maintain the full monthly delivery plan in Jira (workstreams, owners, dependencies, due dates)

• Confirm readiness: vendor data availability, pipeline schedule, resourcing, and product-specific gates

• Ensure every work item has clear acceptance criteria and a definition of done

2) Delivery execution (during the cycle)

• Maintain daily visibility of every in-flight deliverable (status, risks, next owner, ETA)

• Own cross-team handoffs (Data → QA → Publish), and enforce pickup SLAs

• Drive blocker resolution with documented owners and escalation within 48 hours

• Proactively manage client deadlines so there are no surprises

3) Quality + release governance

• Partner with QA to enforce quality gates, triage defects, and manage rework loops

• Ensure publish readiness for Power BI / dashboard releases, including sign-off steps where required

• Identify systemic failure patterns (data completeness, rule changes, pipeline variance) and prevent recurrence

4) Reporting + continuous improvement

• Weekly delivery report: on-time status, risks, blockers, and trends (factual, evidence-based)

• Run a weekly lock-step with Data Analytics leadership (monthly + new client streams)

• Deliver a monthly retro with measurable improvements (cycle time, defects, late deliveries)

What success looks like

• On-time delivery: every segment published by target date (or escalated before it slips)

• Zero client surprises: risks communicated early with mitigation plans

• Clean handoffs: no stalled transitions between phases

• Operational maturity: Jira stays “source of truth,” not an afterthought

• Continuous improvement: each cycle is measurably better than the last

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in project/delivery management in data, analytics, BI, or data products

• A Jira Power-User: You don't just move tickets; you build dashboards, workflows, automations, reporting and board design.

• Data-Fluent, You understand the lifecycle of data—from ingestion (Social/Retail APIs) to processing (AI/ML) to visualization.

• You hate surprises. You communicate risks 48 hours before they become delays.

• Proven experience running recurring delivery cycles with many parallel workstreams

• Strong cross-functional leadership: you can hold teams accountable without chaos

• Excellent written communication (crisp status, clear risks, direct escalations)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern data pipelines (Databricks, lakehouse concepts) at an operational level

• Startup or scale-up experience where processes are still being built
