Roles & Responsibilities:

The role:

To participate in team for hot migration of an existing DC setup (twin failover DC’s) to latest hardware specification. The role includes the migration of 200+ applications into the new infrastructure. 

This is a Senior role: a minimum 8+ years of experience. 

Responsibilities include :

• System Migration: participate in the migration of on-premises systems to new datacenter configuration, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and migrations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for all architectural designs, migration plans, and processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to align datacenter strategies with business and technical
• To hot migrate an existing DC setup (twin failover DC’s) to latest hardware.
• To configure DC virtual architecture based on VMware running on Dell R660 and R250 Servers, EMC Powerstore storage, Connectrix DS switches, Fortigate 400 series threat protection
• Verify network architecture, setting and cabling systems
• Work in team for migration of around 200 applications running on a Windows and Linux servers.
• Work with Senior stakeholders on timelines and planning

Qualifications and skills:

• More than 8+ years experience in a DC and application migration projects for global organizations
• Fluency in English language (Min C1).
• Willing to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday. During switch over phase may be evenings and weekends
• Should have very good knowledge of VMWare, Network configuration and DC architectures
• Ability to work under time constraints, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Should be a leader & able to work collaboratively with onsite and offshore teams.
• Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills.
