R&D in KMD
The position is placed in our R&D division, which purpose is to generate Best Ways of Working across KMD products. We experience a huge interest from the organization to increase the agile maturity and are therefore looking for more colleagues to help us with the continued implementation of the agile ways of working.
KMD is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing critical IT systems and services in numerous sectors in the Danish and Nordic societies. We are approximately 3000 employees across Denmark, Poland, India, and Norway. In 2019 KMD became a part of the NEC Group based in Japan. The acquisition has given KMD a strong position and potential for reaching new international heights in becoming a leading IP-led company.
Being a Scrum Master
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master, who will join a Business Line and be responsible for the agile processes. Furthermore, you will be part of a team of Scrum Masters working across KMD by facilitating communities, establishing metrics, conducting courses and trainings etc.
Your key accountabilities will be:
- Facilitate sprint planning to ensure the team reaches a collective agreement that will be accepted into the sprint.
- Facilitate Scrum meetings and promote active participation from the team to ensure everyone is working towards the sprint goal.
- Managing any external distractions by supporting and protecting the Scrum team to achieve the sprint goals and the commitment agreed within sprint planning.
- Identify and remove any potential impediments to the delivery of the agreed sprint commitment.
Qualifications
- You have an understanding of how software is developed.
- You have hands-on experience as a Scrum Master with a track record of coaching and build high-performing teams
- You can understand and translate IT and business needs as you will work in the gap between business and development.
- You have excellent planning skills and can create structure in a complex environment.
- You master various coaching and facilitating techniques and are energized by dealing with change management by understanding the importance of flexibility with a pragmatic approach.
- You are a team player and build trustful relationships with team members and stakeholders naturally.
- Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and create a collaborative environment.
- You are fluent in both written and spoken Polish and English.
