Our Modern Workplace team at KMD is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to continuous improvement of the digital workplace. With a team of 12 highly skilled professionals, we focus on leveraging the latest technologies to create seamless and efficient solutions for our clients. We are a part of Group IT – The internal IT function in KMD, serving more than 3000 colleagues to be able to deliver at the top of their game.
The Modern Workplace team delivers a wide range of services to our colleagues including our office network across all locations, Azure, on-premises, and endpoint administration (Windows, macOS, Android and IOS). Furthermore, we play a pivotal role in being the highest level of administrators and support – so we also design, build and implement security across the business to protect KMD, our colleagues – and in doing so the Danish IT infrastructure.
About the Position: Endpoint Management Specialist
We are looking for a motivated Endpoint Management Specialist to join our team. This position is aimed at professionals with solid experience in enterprise IT environments — ideally with a background in 3rd line support or systems administration.
In this role, you need to be willing to either learn quickly or have experience in any of the following systems: JAMF, Microsoft Intune, and Autopilot, and be responsible for software packaging and automation of endpoint-related processes. You will also:
Design and maintain end-to-end lifecycle processes for enterprise devices, covering provisioning, patch management, compliance enforcement, and secure decommissioning.
Drive structured implementation projects by leading all waterfall phases—from planning and design to build, validation, and deployment—ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, subject matter experts, and change managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and with minimal disruption to operations.
This is a key position for someone who thrives in a technically challenging environment and wants to make a tangible impact on the digital workplace and likes taking end to end responsibility as a team.
Key Responsibilities and examples of skills:
Endpoint Management across macOS, iOS, Windows and Android using Microsoft Intune, JAMF
Software packaging and deployment (macOS, Windows, custom scripts)
Device compliance and security policies (Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, etc.)
Automation and scripting (PowerShell or other relevant tools)
Troubleshooting and support at a 3rd line level, including root cause analysis and escalations
Collaboration with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure seamless device experiences
Documentation and knowledge sharing to support operational excellence and onboarding
Microsoft Certifications (preferred): MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300, MS-700, or equivalent experience
