Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a modern technology stack and a team working within the KYC (Know Your Customer) domain.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design and develop backend applications using Java, leveraging modern language features (e.g., records, pattern matching, virtual threads)

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (Clean Code, SOLID principles)

• Implement unit and integration tests

• Build and maintain communication between services (REST APIs, messaging)

• Build and maintain Docker images and manage containers

Expected competences and knowledge

• Min. 6 years of commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot 
• Strong proficiency in modern Java features (e.g., records, pattern matching, virtual threads)
• Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with designing, developing, and deploying microservices
• Docker: Experience containerizing applications and managing Docker images/containers
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Database: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MsSQL)

Additional skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI)
