Software Engineer (React + Java)

We are seeking a Java&React Developer to join our Client - international fin-tech company located in Gdańsk. The role focuses on building robust, scalable and secure front-end solutions using React with some working knowledge of Java backend systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in large codebase, following enterprise development standards and collaborating across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications

• Implement software programs, applications using Java

• Integrate React applications with Java based backend services

• Work closely with UX, backend, QA and DevOps teams in a structured enterprise environment

• Participate in backend development tasks such as API integration, minor enhancements and bug fixes

• Ensure application performance, security and scalability standards are met

• Engage in the agile software development process and participate in code reviews, sprint planning and release activities

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or other technical course of study required. MS degree strongly preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing using React and Java.

• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript, DOM, Modern CSS.

• Experience with object-oriented programming (JAVA and/or C#), relational (RDBMS) and non-relational databases

• Experience integrating REST and WebSocket APIs

• Knowledge of Azure, Micro Services, Micro-Frontend architecture will be a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working in financial services will be a plus
