Project

You will be working on a project for one of Europe's leading energy suppliers, with a strong focus on sustainability and the transition to a life without fossil fuels. The project is focused on the development and optimization of Power BI reporting solutions to support sustainable operations based on FSSD (Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development), which is a systems-thinking approach and methodology for guiding organizations towards sustainability by applying a set of scientific principles and using a strategic backcasting approach from a desired future state. Your role will be key in delivering value by visualizing data, standardizing processes and transferring technical knowledge to internal teams working within this framework.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design and deliver Power BI visualizations and dashboards, including prototypes using both real and simulated datasets
• Provide expert advice and propose alternative technical approaches to optimize reporting solutions
• Review existing Power BI reports and suggest improvements to ensure best-in-class reporting standards
• Stay up to date with Power BI feature updates and introduce new methods and best practices to the project

Expected competences and knowledge

• +7 years relevant experience in designing and delivering Power BI reports and dashboards for end users 
• Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, familiarity with Power Apps is a plus
• University degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
• Understanding of financial processes or prior exposure to finance-related projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a multicultural, international environment
• High level of responsibility and independence
• Proactive mindset with a self-starter attitude
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Fluency in English (both technical and financial/business terminology)
