Senior Performance Tester

Salary: 1000 - 1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: Remote or elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. As an Expert in Performance Testing, you will work with complex systems from component to E2E level, gathering and analyzing non-functional requirements (NFRs) and translating business needs into performance criteria.

Your role includes designing non-functional test strategies, conducting performance simulations on Batch/API/GUI levels, and working closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders. You will drive the NFR and NFT agenda within the Solution Train HUB, requiring strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills in English. Deep expertise in defining and implementing non-functional testing in the data domain is essential.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Deep knowledge of non-functional requirements (NFRs) definition and non-functional testing (NFT) organization in the data domain
• Strong communication skills at both engineering and management levels
• Ability to work closely with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to refine NFRs
• Extensive knowledge of LoadRunner, JMeter
• Experience in performance simulations and analysis at Batch/API/GUI levels
• Understanding of user behavior modeling and complex simulation scenarios
• Development skills beyond traditional QA scope
• Basic understanding of system architecture
• Test automation experience as a complementary skill
• Proficiency with Windows & Linux operating systems
• Experience in CI/CD performance testing (Jenkins)
• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, PDC, Kafka, AppDynamics, Splunk
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks efficiently

Nice to have

• Banking experience is a strong advantage
• Understanding of Big Data technologies, including Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera/MapR) and streaming technologies
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Snowflake
