Salary: 800 - 1000 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We're looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our client's team working on the KYC Legacy Application Solution.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Ensure stability and performance of key platforms such as GKYC built on Pega CLM, covering both production and pre-production environments
• Actively manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive root cause analysis to restore services promptly
• Use tools like PDC (Pega Diagnostics Cloud), Sysdig, AppDynamics, Grafana, and Splunk to monitor applications, create alerts, and generate reports
• Develop scripts and automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Support change processes and release cycles, ensuring compliance with ITIL and internal governance standards
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance requirements
• Work with Kubernetes architecture, pods, services, and Docker containers to maintain application environments
• Drive CSI initiatives, leveraging agile practices to enhance operational processes and service quality

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience on problem solving/incidents management/change handling
• Understanding of ITIL Framework
• Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Expertise in servers, networks, storage systems, DBs, web servers, etc..)
• Understand Kubernetes architecture, pods and services
• Exposure to monitoring tools, e.g. PDC (Pega Diagnostics Cloud) and Sysdig, Appdynamics, Grafana, Splunk (Creating & Managing Alerts and Reports)
• Hands on experience with Linux, DB troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of Docker container technology
• Scripting and automation skills: knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating routine tasks
• Experience with agile work cultures
• Ability to drive complex tasks and coordinate activities across different teams and ensure timely execution
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of the Pega platform will be considered an additional significant advantage
• KYC business process and banking domain experience is an advantage
