Senior AI Engineer

Salary: 175 - 225 PLN/h net+vat on B2B

Work model: remote or hybrid (approx. 1 time a week at the office located in Gdańsk / Warsaw / Kraków / Rzeszów)

Project

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join a team that sits at the intersection of data engineering and applied AI. The team is responsible for building the data foundation that powers Client's products- ingesting, processing, and enriching public procurement data from a wide range of sources- as well as developing AI-driven features that turn that data into action able intelligence for customers.

What you will be working on

• AI-powered document intelligence: Using web scraping and LLMs to extract insight from unstructured public data sources, surfacing signals that help customers stay ahead of the market
• Enterprise data platform (EDP) integration: Ingesting, normalising, and joining data from multiple external sources into our EDP, making it accessible and useful for downstream service sacross the organisation
• External API data ingestion: Building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs to continuously gather relevant data at scale
• CI/CD pipeline ownership: Setting up and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for the services the team develops and operates

Expected competences

• Strong experience in software engineering (backend/platform) - (Python/Java is a strong plus)
• Proven experience building AI/LLM-powered applications
• Solid understanding of LLM-based solutions, including real-world usage (prompting, retrieval, orchestration)
• Experience working with production systems – maintaining, debugging, and improving deployed solutions
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS is preferred but not obligatory)
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially around troubleshooting and fixing production issues
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment (not purely individual contributor mindset)

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI systems or multi-step LLM workflows
• Background in backend engineering at scale (APIs, distributed systems)
• Experience with data processing / data engineering concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or platform engineering practices
• Experience with embeddings, RAG pipelines, or LLM evaluation
