Rollout Manager

Salary: 900-1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Warszawa (2-3 days per week from the office)

Project

This project focuses on managing and coordinating large-scale application releases and rollouts within a complex banking environment, ensuring high quality, compliance, and minimal operational risk. The role involves close collaboration with multiple stakeholders to plan go-live activities, integrate DevOps practices, and continuously improve release efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Defining the release & roll-out strategy, governance model, and milestone plan based on established processes and best practices
• Coordinating the release & roll-out organization and surrounding teams in preparation for go-live, including securing resources, building the go-live implementation plan, and executing dress rehearsals
• Planning and coordinating change activities throughout the roll-out activities and coordinating business verification activities during rehearsals and go-live
• Leading release go live and post-go-live activities
• Overseeing that production operations teams receive proper transition support as new solutions are rolled out
• Leading roll-out decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each roll-out milestone
• Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating new techniques, automation capabilities, and DevOps ways of working to release orchestration

Expected competences and knowledge

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related discipline, with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, accountability, proactivity, and the ability to quickly adapt and respond to change
• 7+ years of experience in IT project management and planning, including application release or data migration projects and hands-on use of release or cutover planning tools
• Experience working with incident, problem, and change management tools and processes within the ITIL framework, along with knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and understanding of technology solution architecture
• Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies, with a basic understanding of DevOps ways of working
• Excellence communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills, with high proficiency in spoken and written English 

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during implementation events, and experience in the banking or financial sector as a strong advantage
