Remote: Hybrid from Gdynia/Warszawa (minimum 1 day per week in the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to oversee IT release planning, execution, and deployment. In this role, you will manage the release roadmap, coordinate multiple releases, and ensure smooth transitions from development to production. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, development, and operations teams to enhance release quality through automation and DevOps best practices. Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management with a focus on release/deployment management
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes under ITIL
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps principles
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with strong coordination and planning abilities
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining a strategic overview
• Proactive and adaptable approach to change management
• Flexibility to work paid evenings and weekends for implementation events
• Passion for automation, with an interest in working with Release Orchestration tools to create automated pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience in the banking sector or financial services
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level release management tools

Responsibilities you'll have

• Plan and coordinate the release roadmap for one or more applications
• Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle: planning, execution, and production deployment
• Lead release decision meetings and secure stakeholder approvals
• Coordinate change activities in line with ITIL processes
• Ensure smooth go-live and post-deployment transitions
• Drive improvements through automation and DevOps best practices
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on release status and progress
