Project

We are looking for an experienced Application Performance Engineer to join a team working on a complex Core Banking solution. The role focuses on ensuring top-tier performance, scalability, and reliability of Java-based applications running on WebLogic, contributing directly to a seamless user experience and system efficiency.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas

• Design and implement performance optimization strategies for Java/WebLogic applications

• Collaborate with developers and architects to introduce performance enhancements

• Monitor application health using performance monitoring toolsInvestigate and resolve performance issues proactively and reactively

• Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations

• Stay up-to-date with performance engineering best practices

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or similar role

• Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization

• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics)

• Strong experience with WebLogic performance tuning and analysis

• Knowledge of web server configuration and optimization

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Temenos Core Banking
