Work model: hybrid from Kraków (2 - 3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced IT Technical Product Owner with a background in engineering environments and IoT-related solutions. In this role, you will support and develop engineering software ecosystems (including ECAD/MCAD environments) used across global business units. You will act as the key link between Engineering and IT, representing stakeholders and ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs. You will be responsible for shaping product strategy, managing backlog priorities, and overseeing the full lifecycle of engineering software solutions. The role also involves close collaboration with stakeholders in areas such as software usage, licensing, and cost optimization.

Expected competences and knowledge:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Technical Lead 
• Experience working with engineering software solutions or platforms (ECAD/MCAD or similar environments)
• Understanding of IoT ecosystems, connected systems, or data-driven engineering environments
• Good understanding of IT service management processes (e.g. ITIL)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment
• Good communication in English (min. B2 level - English is the primary working language )
• Nice to have: Previous experience in automotive area

Responsibilities you’ll have:

• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for engineering software solutions (ECAD/MCAD ecosystem)
• Collaborate with global stakeholders (Engineering, IT, suppliers) to gather requirements and align priorities
• Manage product backlog and support prioritization based on business value and cost impact
• Support software lifecycle management including usage tracking, renewals, and license optimization
• Contribute to financial planning and cost optimization of a global software portfolio (multi-million USD budget)
