IT Project Manager (Cloud Program)

Salary: 900 - 1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa  (3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in cloud programs and solutions development. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead complex, large-scale IT projects, manage cloud migrations, and drive programs across Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and SAFe methodologies, collaborating effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Define program/project roadmaps, milestones, governance models, and execute plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Lead large-scale technical, application, data, and infrastructure migration projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, MSPs, and system integrators
• Oversee Agile release and sprint governance, including SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, demos), steering committees, and executive reporting
• Manage budgets, cloud spend tracking, resource allocation, and risk mitigation (RAID logs: Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• Ensure compliance, security, audit readiness, and adoption of change management, including communication, training, and post-delivery support plans
• Track project team performance, deliverable quality, and acceptance criteria; escalate issues and collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, and business leaders
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with agility, proactivity, and a focus on optimal outcomes

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven ability to lead projects in large-scale, complex IT environments
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, and SAFe methodologies
• Familiarity with recognized project management practices, including work breakdown structures, risk/issue management, resource loading, project monitoring and controlling, and quality assurance
• Strong exposure to cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud migration knowledge
• Excellent command of English

• Nice to have
• Minimum 5 years of end-to-end project management leadership
• Experience managing budgets from $5M–$20M, including FinOps and cost optimization
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform/ARM/CFN) at governance level
• Awareness of risk, compliance, and security standards such as GDPR
• Experience interacting with executive stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CISO) and both technical and non-technical customers
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or a directly related field
• Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Power BI, PPM
