Salary: 1000-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (1 day per week from the office)

Project

The project focuses on Fraud Management, aiming to enhance the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities.

 

What you'll be doing

• Optimize database queries from both application and database sides to improve performance
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues, identifying and resolving unoptimized setups 
• Conduct performance analysis, profiling, and tuning of relational databases (Oracle or similar)
• Implement and maintain asynchronous database setups to ensure data consistency and availability
• Manage and optimize high-availability (HA) configurations, including Fast-Start Failover (FSFO), and assess their impact on system reliability
• Monitor and maintain database, ensuring system reliability and scalability
• Utilize Oracle reporting tools for data analysis and generating business insights
• Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle or similar)
• Expertise in query optimization and database performance tuning
• Experience with troubleshooting database issues, including identifying unoptimized configurations
• Knowledge of high-availability (HA) setups, particularly using FSFO
• Proficiency with Oracle reporting tools and data visualization
• Familiarity with performance profiling and system optimization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good understanding of NoSQL databases and Redis is a plus
