Business Analyst / Product Owner

Salary: 800 - 1200 PLN / day on B2B

Work model: Hybrid from Gdynia, with regular business trips to the clients office in Amsterdam

Project

The team is developing a new system for planning and settling working time, replacing a legacy solution that can no longer handle the clients dynamic business needs. The system integrates with corporate applications and centralizes employee data, automating time-tracking and billing processes. Its fully built in the AWS cloud using modern, serverless technologies. Your role will be to understand the system as a whole, plan and coordinate integrations with the clients ecosystem, and ensure that both architecture and business processes remain consistent across all connected applications.

Your responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
• Analyze requirements in the area of employee management and time tracking
• Define integration architecture and ensure seamless communication between systems
• Translate business needs into clear analytical and technical documentation (AS-IS, TO-BE, use cases, diagrams)
• Manage product backlog, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize work according to business value
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and client stakeholders
• Participate in refinement, sprint planning, and review sessions
• Verify whether delivered solutions align with initial assumptions and design
• Support testing and validation of integrations
• Facilitate communication and alignment between distributed teams

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business/System Analyst in a technically complex environment
• Strong understanding of system integration principles and cloud architecture (AWS)
• Practical experience with business process modeling (UML/BPMN) and API testing (POSTMAN)
• Good grasp of database concept
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to write clear user stories, define acceptance criteria, and manage requirements lifecycle
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,  ability to discuss both technical and business aspects
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to see systems as integrated, evolving ecosystems
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
