Automation Tester with Python & Robot Framework

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python

• Develop, optimize and execute automated test suites for web (UI) and API applications

• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts and DevOps engineers to integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins / Git / Bitbucket)

• Analyze test results and report defects using JIRA and manage test cases in qTest

• Ensure alignment with QA standards and testing strategy across multiple environments (pre-prod, UAT, prod)

• Participate in code reviews, test strategy planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Support manual testers by identifying high-value areas for automation and ensuring maintainability of test assets

Expected competences and knowledge

• 3+ years of experience in test automation (UI and API focus)

• Proven hands-on experience in Robot Framework and Python programming

• Good understanding of test automation design patterns (Page Object Model, keyword-driven approach)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and test management systems (qTest, JIRA)

• Practical knowledge of REST API testing and tools (Postman, Swagger, REST libraries)

• Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and Agile (Scrum / SAFe) processes

• Solid communication skills and fluency in English (B2+ level or higher)

• Experience in the banking or financial services domain will be a strong advantage
