Salary: 700 - 980 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer  to join a FX systems team within the financial services sector. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining two pricing interface applications, ensuring stability across environments, and helping to integrate them with midrange solutions. This role combines technical troubleshooting, system integration, and legacy application maintenance. 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Maintain and support FX pricing applications across production, development, and test environments
• Proactively manage infrastructure updates and improvements (Windows 2019/2022)
• Troubleshoot incidents and assist consumers on HP NonStop and z/OS platforms
• Analyze potential for integration of current applications with midrange systems 
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and support

 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong experience with Windows Server 2019 / 2022
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server 
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ and Visual Basic 6
• Familiarity with Bitbucket (or similar version control tools)
• Working knowledge of MQ (e.g., IBM MQ)
• Experience with GfKernel and dScreen (internal frameworks/tools)
• English min. B2
• Nice to have: experience working with HP NonStop and/or z/OS platforms and financial domain knowledge
