As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial services company. The company is focusing on large-scale infrastructure projects and seeks a highly skilled individual to manage and document business requirements for API integration and other technical processes. You will be engaging with key stakeholders, working with multiple teams, and ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable technical requirements. Your role will involve monitoring progress, identifying gaps, and supporting migration efforts to successfully deliver complex technical projects.
Your main responsibilities:
- Engaging with stakeholders across teams to agree on and document requirements for API integration
- Documenting technical processes and identifying gaps in information across multiple areas
- Gathering and analyzing information to ensure consistent and comprehensive documentation
- Supporting migration planning and execution through documentation and process coordination
- Working closely with delivery teams to monitor progress and clarify requirements
- Creating and refining test cases based on requirements
- Facilitating and documenting requirements elicitation, including challenging and refining business needs
- Conducting gap analysis to identify missing elements in business processes
- Supporting user acceptance testing and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Mapping data and ensuring accurate process flow definitions for current and future states
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to break down complex business needs
- Good stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Effective communication skills, able to adapt to various audiences and explain requirements clearly
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify risks and speak up when necessary
- Problem-solving capabilities, offering viable solutions to issues encountered
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize business needs, and manage multiple assignments
- Experience working in agile projects or large-scale infrastructure initiatives
- Familiarity with requirements elicitation techniques, including epic confirmation and user story creation
- Expertise in documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative in new projects
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with end-to-end project lifecycle management
- Experience in large-scale or complicated infrastructure projects
- IT service/management certification
- Familiarity with operational design and impact analysis
- Background in supporting migration efforts and testing
- Familiarity with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) techniques
- Advanced skills in Jira and Confluence
