Business Analyst with ServiceNow

emagine is seeking experienced Business Analysts with ServiceNow expertise to join our team. This remote position requires occasional visits to the office and is designed for freelance IT consultants who are ready to tackle complex challenges within a global Finance/Insurance or regulated industry environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset with a notable capacity to understand, redesign, and enhance business processes. Your technical skills will enable you to identify vulnerabilities based on internal audit results and proactively manage project risks. Excellent communication skills in English, with German as a plus, are essential for successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

Your core responsibility will involve working closely with business representatives to identify requirements and develop possible solutions.

Additionally, you will:

• Identify vulnerabilities based on internal audit results and analyze methods to address them.
• Collaborate with internal partners to troubleshoot project planning issues.
• Facilitate design, planning, and implementation workshops with stakeholders.
• Proactively manage project risks, developing effective mitigation plans.
• Support functional processes during software deployment.

Key Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of experience in regulatory projects in a large, complex environment.
• ServiceNow experience.
• Proficiency in English; German is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and redesign processes and key controls.
• Excellent project planning and scheduling ability.
• Board-level presentation skills.
• Proven ability to drive functional and geographic workstreams.
• Experience in managing distributed teams within a matrix setup.
• Proactivity, ownership, and a can-do attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of BMC Remedy.
• Experience in penetration testing.
• Familiarity with CMDB.
